Apocalyptic Shadow in Honkai Star Rail is one of the toughest end-game challenges. Enemies in this challenge are usually massively HP buffed, along with exclusive stage buffs. With leaks emerging of the upcoming 4.0 version, we have the details of who you might be facing in Honkai Star Rail, 4.0 Apocalyptic Shadow.

Honkai Star Rail Apocalyptic Shadow Best Teams for 4.0v

The Honkai Star Rail Apocalyptic Shadow 4.0 is going to feature two of the most annoying enemies of all time. In Node 1, we will face “The Ravaged Unconquerable”, one of the strongest bosses from the Amphoreus-arc, and the Boss will have Elemental Weakness of Fire, Ice, Lightning, and Quantum.

In Node 2, we will be facing the “ Hellcharred Shadow General” from the Xianzhou Luofu. This was introduced in the latter part of the Penacony Aec. And the weakness for this one will be Physical, Fire, Lightning, and Wind. Also, keep in mind these bosses will have exclusive stage buffs, so while facing them make sure your has strong Sustain utility.

Node 1 - The Ravaged Unconquerable

This Amphoreus Boss usually has strong buffs, which can reduce incoming damage, giving it more time to sustain the fight. Along with that, the boss has a signature debuff, which is known as “Conquer or Be Conquered."

This allows the boss to draw out the soul of its targets, and caps the max healable HP of the targets who are on the field. To remove the debuff, players would need to clear out the summons with devastating blows, for which you would need to field a strong team.

The best teams are:

1. Castorice+ Evernight+Cyrene+ Hyacine

This is currently one of the strongest in-game comps, and can brute force through most of the challenges even if the opponent has other Element Weaknesses. In this comp, Castorice and Evernight are the main DPS who can deal massive Quantum and Ice damage, respectively.
While Cyrene can provide exclusive Chrysos Heir buffs to the whole team, as they are all members of the Chrysos Heir, which can boost their damage output massively. Finally, Hyacine, the healer of the group, can provide strong healing and a consistent follow-up attack with her memosprite, dealing decent Wind damage whenever needed.

2. Firefly+ Fugue+ The Dahlia+ Lingsha (mono-Fire)

With the release of The Dahlia, Firefly is back in meta with her massive damage output. In this comp, Firefly is the main DPS dishing out consistent Fire damage on her targets, As she is a Path of Destruction unit, she can deal with all the enemies on the field at once, giving players more chances to deal damage with their limited Skill Points. While Fugue and The Dahlia provide strong reliable buffs, which will boost the damage output of Firefly during the fights. And Lingsha, will make sure the team survives the fight with her strong dependable healing utility.

Node 2- Hellcharred Shadow General

Another annoying boss from the Xianzhou Luofu, but can be defeated easily if preparations are well made. The Boss usually has mechanics related to aggressive multi-action, Self-buff and occasional summons of elite enemies on the field. The best way to tackle her is by defeating the summons as fast as you can, then going for the main target.

The Best Teams for this Node are:

• Kafka+Black Swan+ Hysilens+ Huohuo

  

The old dependable DoT comp, which has faced multiple enemies since these units became playable. Even in the current meta of Hypercarry units, this comp is a strong option in multiple scenarios.

Here, Kafka is your main damage dealer, while Black Swan and Hysilens will keep putting DoTs on their target making sure the enemy receives damage constantly and HuoHuo makes sure everyone is max on their HP and Energy.

• Sparkie+ Sparkle+ Yao Guang+ Dan Heng Permansor Terrae

  

Sparxie, the latest 5-star Fire DPS is a reliable option in this Boss fight. She can deal massive Fire damage via punchlines. While Sparkle and Yao Guang can provide the buffs that she needed. And Dan Heng (PT) will be your sustain unit, keeping the team safe.
