There’s a new competition running around in Honkai: Star Rail. The Honkai Star Rail Snack Dash Event turns the space station into a lively racetrack, where Ruan Mei’s little creations are the ones doing the running while Trailblazers just sit back, cheer, and collect prizes.

The Honkai Star Rail Snack Dash Event starts on November 5, 2025, and goes on till December 15, 2025 (server time). Even after this time ends, players can still try the same gameplay later in Conventional Memoir. Only players who reached Trailblaze Level 21 or above can take part. It’s also advised to finish the mission “The Blue When the Stars of Ingenuity Shine” for a better understanding of the story and mechanics.

How the Snack Dash Event Works

In The Honkai Star Rail Snack Dash Event, Players act as spectators while the creations compete through obstacle races. There are four different arenas: Casual, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced, each offering different levels of challenge and prize potential.

Before every race, Trailblazers pick a contestant to support by spending “Bounce-Bounce Snacks.” Every race has three segments, and after each segment ends, players will get some snacks back depending on how their supported creation performed. A good pick means more snacks, and of course, more Spectator Points that you can trade for special Snack Dash rewards.

Breaking Down the Mechanics of Abilities and Arenas

Every creation in this event has something unique called a Creation Ability. These abilities decide how they react to obstacles and how they move through each course. Some are fast on certain terrains, while others might have ways to block rivals or overcome traps better. Before a player begins a round, the game lets them take a look at the arena terrain, which helps them guess which contestant might have an advantage. Maybe one is better on slippery grounds, while another handles rough paths easily.

After unlocking the Intermediate Arena, players get access to Arena Effect Voting. Once cheering ends, everyone can vote for special effects that alter the course, terrain, or contestant abilities. After completing a race in the Advanced Arena, the Snack Exchange opens, letting players trade leftover Bounce-Bounce Snacks for Trick Snacks, Tears of Souls, and other valuable items. These limited rewards disappear after December 15, though players can still visit Dozing Meow later to replay the event for fun rather than rare prizes.

Helpful Tips for Trailblazers

• Learn the Creation Abilities – It’s good to try remembering what each contestant actually does best. Some have good speed, others have odd tricks, and knowing that helps not to waste snacks on weak ones. Even a tiny thing can decide how the race goes once it starts.
