Injustice 3 Rumors Are Heating Up With Two Major DC Heroes Reportedly Revealed

The Injustice series is already a hot topic among DC fans across the globe, and Injustice 3 latest rumours are bringing in some more heat. Honestly, it's an open secret now that NetherRealm Studios are working on DC's famous fighting series' next iteration. From a stunt worker's resume to an artist's favourite projects, we've come a long way with the rumours.

A recent screenshot is allegedly part of the Injustice 3 playtest. Ed Boon, the Creative Director, however, has clearly denied the playtest rumours. Regardless, some rumours feel quite believable, and let's take a look at everything we know about the game.

Injustice 3 Latest Rumours Increase Excitement Among DC Comics Fans

It all started with an anonymous artist at Warner Bros. Games sharing their past and present projects. And that document clearly stated a name that's connected to NetherRealm Studios' upcoming title. Meanwhile, the Injustice 3 latest rumors just got more exciting with a stunt worker's recent job posting.

The position needed to fill motion capture for two of DC's favourite female Heroes. And after a few days, an alleged playtest screenshot of Injustice 3 has also been unveiled on the internet. The unknown source confirmed Green Lantern could be the new villain of the upcoming series. Considering there were two endings in the Injustice 2 story, it'll be interesting what new take the devs can bring.

Injustice 3 Character Leaks Come With Massive Surprise

Now, let's focus a bit on Injustice 3 character leaks. Considering the recent job posting we just discussed, it's evident that Supergirl and Batwoman are likely to be playable characters. While it'll be a crazy debut for Batwoman, Superman's cousin was already an integral part of the Injustice 2 iteration.

Therefore, devs might consider Batman's ending the canon one and shape the story from there. And that's when Darkseid is expected to make an entry and take advantage of Earth's weak atmosphere. Yes, the same villain we saw in Zack Snyder's Justice League movie. Even though there is enough material for Warner Brothers and NetherRealm Studios to shape the story, it'll be interesting to see how Green Lantern could potentially fit into the plot.

We'll make sure to release more pieces if there are any more leaks that get surfaced across the internet. The netizens, however, believe that both developers and the publisher will soon release an official statement considering a huge chunk of leaks are already available online.
