League of Legends Patch 26.13 Preview Reveals Major Champion Changes

League of Legends patch 26.13 preview has recently been revealed, and it features plenty of adjustments to various in-game items and champions. The changes complement the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) update coming up later this year. League of Legends 26.13 Full Patch Preview

The League of Legends patch 26.13 preview was revealed by the lead game designer, Matt Leung-Harrison, on his official X account. The tweet features all the champions getting buffed or nerfed in the 26.13 update.

Champion Buffs

• Aphelios
• Draven
• Kai'Sa
• Kindred
• LeBlanc
• Olaf
• Poppy
• Qiyana
• Vex
• Zaahen

Champion Nerfs

• Bard
• Brand
• Cassiopeia
• K'Sante
• Rek'Sai
• Rumble
• Senna
• Sion

Apart from the above adjustments, a new champion called Locke will make his way to the game in the LoL 26.13 update. Being known as the Ashen Exorcist of this fantasy realm, Locke carries magical powers that can damage opponents of all calibers with ease. Although this character still needs some fine-tuning, you can see a much more polished version of him when the update arrives.

The League of Legends patch 26.13 might be bigger than the previous LoL 26.12 update if things go well during its release on June 24, 2026.

LoL Patch 26.13 Welcomes a Few System Changes

The following items are getting buffed and nerfed as a result of the system changes in the LoL Patch 26.13 Preview:

System Buffs

Imperial Mandate: The Imperial Mandate buff will be supporting mid-land champions, like Galio, fringe TF, Liss, etc. According to Matt, this update looks to promote a more "fantasy forward" approach to the Support champions. While it's not the best item to carry, it certainly deserves a power-up, as the upcoming MSI update will be unforgivingly challenging for the players.

System Nerfs

• Doran's Helm: Doran's Helm is the only item receiving a nerf, as it has been providing a strong, unfair advantage to the ADCs. To level things up for other players, the developers will be making a minor adjustment to their buffs.

The LoL 26.13 Full Patch Preview is one of the many updates that will be shaking things up for good. However, it's certainly not the last one this year.
