LoL Patch 26.14 Preview: Champion Buffs, Nerfs, and System Adjustments

With the Mid-Season Invitational ongoing, Matt Leung-Harrison has been given a LoL Patch 26.14 Preview with meaningful tweaks. The Lead Gameplay designer has always been active on X to notify the MOBA community about recent developments at the Riot headquarters. According to the official schedule, the LoL 26.14 update will go live on July 15, 2026. Therefore, MOBA fans will be in for another treat post-MSI tournament. Champions like Azir, Corki, Senna, Seraphine, and more will go through significant tweaks. While we're yet to receive the LoL 26.14 Full Patch Preview, here's an overview of what we know so far.

LoL Patch 26.14 Explained

The official release (July 15, 2026) clearly indicates that Matt Leung's LoL Patch 26.14 Preview will be implemented post-MSI tournament. While the developers are at Riot headquarters with the overall meta, they're all set to nerf the strongest picks in the bot lane.

Meanwhile, a few characters will receive minimal adjustments to bring stability to the current meta. The most surprising factor is that the recently released Champion, Locke, will receive a nerf.
