A week before the official launch, the LoL 26.15 update has created chaos, especially wth the Champion adjustments. While characters like Maokai, Zac, and Alistar will see significant buffs, Champions like Locke and Riven will not face a similar fate. Now, let's talk about the LoL 26.15 full patch preview.

LoL Patch 26.15 Explained: Champion Tweaks

It's been a tradition for the lead gameplay designer (Matt Leung-Harrison) to provide an overview of the upcoming patch beforehand. And this time, it's no exception, and we have our LoL Patch 26.15 Preview, a week before. The official schedule from Riot Games suggests that the patch will release on July 29, 2026.

Judging from the first look, it's quite evident that LoL players are likely to face a huge meta change post 26.15 implementation. On that note, here's a League of Legends 26.15 full patch preview:

Champion Buffs

  • Kai'sa: Damage on hit has been increased and ability power percentage buffed.
  • Alistar: Base MS have been increased.
  • Maokai: Monster Mod numbers have been increased.
  • Volibear: Cooldowns have been decreased.
  • Zac: Armor growth has been increased, and the cooldown of E has been adjusted.

Champion Nerfs

  • Locke: Base HP decreased, and Nail Damage has been adjusted.
  • Naafiri: Overall damage has been slightly nerfed.
  • Mordekaiser: Stat steal and cooldowns have been adjusted.
  • Sylas: Q1 damage range has been decreased, along with ability power percentage.
  • Riven: AD Bonus has been decreased along with AD ratio.

Champion Adjustments

  • Belveth: Base Stats and all special abilities have been nerfed.

As mentioned earlier, most of the characters have gone through base HP, AD Bonus, Q1 Damage, Armor Growth, and other major changes. Amidst the whole set, Belveth has faced significant adjustments. Every base stat and special ability has been tweaked.

League of Legends Patch 26.15 System Changes

While Champion changes are certainly the highlights of the upcoming patch, LoL systems will also undergo adjustments. Three of the affected systems will be buffed, but Jack of All Trades will be nerfed post LoL 26.15 update. Here's an overview of the adjustments:

League of Legends System Buffs

  • Bastionbreaker: Cost has been decreased, and base damage increased.
  • Terminus: On-hit damage has been blessed with bonus AP and AD.
  • Yuntal: Total cost decreased, and attack speed percentage increased.

League of Legends System Nerfs

  • Jack of All Trades: The adaptiveness at certain moments has been decreased.
