LoL Wild Rift Patch 7.2 Introduces 5x New Skins: Here's How To Get Them

The upcoming League of Legends Wild Rift Patch 7.2 is arriving on July 9, 2026. The patch will have a shorter update cycle of two months, and according to the developers, will act as a foundation on which bigger future updates are set to launch.

Similar to the previous Wild Rift Patch 7.1, Riot Games will bring in new Wild Rift skins, add two new champions, and improve other QoL features. In this article, we will focus on the five Wild Rift Patch 7.2 skins coming next month.

Riot Games has decided to deliver a broader mix of champion-focused content going forward. Whether one plays in action-packed lanes like mid or ADC or in less popular positions like jungler or support, the upcoming Patch 7.2 skins in Wild Rift cover all roles.

All the Wild Rift Patch 7.2 skins are releasing between July 9 and 10. Let's take a look at each skin separately and check out the ways to acquire them with ease.

1. "Movie Director" Ryze

Ryze is one of the oldest and most popular mage champions within Wild Rift, with a deep, tragic origin story. Movie Director Ryze is a light-hearted skin that aims to bring in a fresh outlook to this champion.

The skin portrays him carrying the director's notebook (in place of his rune book) and an award statuette (in place of his runic scroll) on his back. The skin is the featured skin of the Wild Rift Pass for the patch. Players need to buy the Premium Pass, actively level it up by completing missions to level 50, and unlock the skin.

2. “Cosmic Sting" Skarner

Skarner was recently launched just a few weeks back in League of Legends Wild Rift. Hence, Cosmic Sting Skarner is its first skin in the game.

Additionally, as an Epic-tier skin, it is the most visually striking one among the upcoming Wild Rift skins. Skarner will be an epic-tier skin and is expected to be added directly to the in-game Store for players to obtain it using Wild Cores.

3. "Striker" Ezreal

To capitalize on the ongoing football World Cup fever, Riot Games has decided to introduce the Striker Ezreal skin in the game. He is considered as the game's best ADC champion, making this football-themed skin a sure-shot sell-out among Wild Rift players.

If Riot Games does not tie this skin to a limited-time event, Ezreal will be added to the Store and be available for direct purchase using Wild Cores.

4. "Purple Garlic" Lulu

Lulu is one of the best enchanter supports since it is easier to learn and master her skills and combos. Purple Garlic Lulu is another lighthearted skin that adds more cuteness to the yordle's design and animations.

Players will find it to be one of her better skins within the game. Although there hasn't been any leak on whether the skin could be tied to any event, and could ultimately be available for direct purchase from the Store using Wild Cores like other joke/novelty skins.

5. "Glorious Eminence" Renekton

The latest introduction to the Glorious series lineup of Wild Rift skins is the Glorious Eminence Renekton. Renekton comes as a deadly beast in regal attire adorned with gold, white, and green accents, making him suitable for players who are willing to push and climb the ranked ladder in Wild Rift.

"Glorious Eminence" Renekton is expected to be a free skin that players can earn by participating in the new Ranked Season. Players will need to fulfill the needed requirements to get this skin from the Ranked Rewards section.
