Marvel Rivals New Accessories and In-Store Content
The September update highlights Marvel Rivals new accessories that give players an expanded realm of customization. Accessories have been introduced for Magneto, Scarlet Witch, Luna Snow, and Cloak & Dagger, which can be redeemed via the in-game Store following the patch. They provide players the opportunity to customize their hero's appearance while visually differentiating their abilities in battle.
Along with accessories, the patch introduces two new in-store bundles. Players can get collectable hero content via the Hela – Grim Lady Bundle and the Hela – Grim Lady Emoji Bundle. The patch also presents Ultimate Ability visual effects for three heroes: Invisible Woman will receive Azure Shade, Mantis will gain Oceanic Harmony, and The Punisher will get Aqua Arsenal. These visual effects enhance clarity while in battle, as well as change the look of a hero's ability. All visual effects will be available starting on September 26, 2025.
Players will now be able to earn Marvel Rivals accessory points in Arcade matches, which is based on the match mode. Accessory points are a progression feature that lets heroes unlock additional customization options while playing.

New Map, Shou-Lao Event, and Resource Rumble Updates
The patch comes with a new Convergence map: K'un-Lun: Heart of Heaven, set in the Enigma, City of the Immortals. The map has zoning to map on, vertical navigational play, and lively encounters made to stimulate casual and competitive play alike.
This patch also marks the beginning of the Shou-Lao’s Blessing event. The Immortal Dragon Shou-Lao has returned, and it's your opportunity to earn a Costume Coin, 500 Units, and 500 Unstable Molecules for completing event objectives. The event is live from September 25 and October 9, 2025 (UTC). That is two full weeks for players to participate.
The Resource Rumble mode has been improved for quicker and more fun games. Fewer resources per area have been changed from 210 to 200. The breakpoint for Rumble Phase has been changed from 60 points to 100 points. The Extract Phase victory targets from the 360 points have been reduced to 300 points. Rumble Phase victory targets from the original 300 points have been reduced to 200 points. There are some spawn room improvements for faster speeds and movement through the jump pad at points A and C to make it easier for heroes without mobility abilities to get into the action much quicker.
It also incorporates competitive viewing options via the in-game Tournament Livestreams Hub, so players can watch Marvel Rivals Ignite Stage 2 matches live in person via the Tournament tab. The Twitch Drops period runs from September 25 to October 23, 2025. If a viewer has enough watch time to qualify, they will be rewarded with an item (for example, Rocket Raccoon - Will of Galacta costume and bundle content).
Fixes, Hero Updates, and Console Improvements
The September patch fixes multiple bugs across all platforms. The 'Hot & Trending' Achievement for Human Torch is fixed so that it won’t fail in rare instances. Bug fixes were made to the Battle Pass bonuses and the invisibility cloak during the results screen. Bugs about player name anonymity effects and spectator cameras were fixed.

Updates to the console address issues with chat box functionality so that it automatically focuses and triggers the virtual keyboard appropriately. Altogether, these updates enhance the reliability of gameplay and improve the overall player experience.
With the addition of Marvel Rivals latest accessories, Shou-Lao event, a new map, Resource Rumble tweaks, Twitch Drops, and a plethora of bugs squashed, this patch strengthens casual and competitive play. Players will now be able to customize heroes and participate in live events while simultaneously enjoying improved, smoother, and faster matches across all game modes.
