PocketGame has announced a new monster-themed game with a compelling storyline. The game titled PickMon, allows you to befriend monster-like creatures, fight alongside them and save the continent you live in.

Pickmon Offers Monster-Hunting Mechanics Similar to Pokemon

Pickmon is based on the concept of catching monsters, something eerily similar to the multi-billion dollar franchise Pokémon. In Pickmon, you will explore an undiscovered continent and catch creatures called 'Pickmon'. The Pickmon will accompany you in your journey.

There is a distinction in the way you catch the 'Pickmon', unlike Pokémon, which use Poke Balls; there are cards that will help you catch these in-game creatures. The game aims to catch the ongoing trend of monster-hunting games similar to Palworld.

From the trailer, it is evident that each Pickmon will be unique and have its own abilities. You will have to use these abilities to move in the open continent and accomplish your missions. There will be options to equip the creatures with firearms. The game will have an engaging storyline where you will have to protect them from poachers and ensure they don't go extinct.

You can also travel places with the help of the 'Pickmon', another similarity with Pokemon. Should the game release without any interventions or copyright issues, you can expect to see a beta release soon.

Pickmon Aims for a 2027 PC Launch

Although no official announcement has been made about the actual release date. The game will become available for PC users on Steam.
