Marvel Rivals Season 4.5 Release Date Confirmed

Marvel Rivals Season 4.5 will officially launch worldwide on October 10th, 2025, at 10 a.m. UTC, as announced by NetEase Games via their social media platforms and official roadmap. We have reached the midway point in Season 4, which kicked off on September 12th.

NetEase has adopted a new seasonal schedule, and each full season will now take place over eight weeks, rather than twelve. This means that updates like 4.5 serve as a mini-expanssion, giving players newly introduced heroes, events, experiences, etc., more often. This is a nice change that keeps the pace going and ensures players always have something new to recent on.

New Hero Daredevil Joins the Squad

The primary spotlight of Season 4.5 is Daredevil, or Matt Murdock. The creative director Guangguang labeled him a duelist hero, which is ideal for the player who enjoys fast reflexes and one-and-one combat. Daredevil has his signature Billy Clubs, allowing him to quickly close the distance, dodge to avoid attacks, and lock onto his enemies precisely.

Season 4.5 will also provide a rebalance in several Team-Up abilities - an important feature where two heroes can combine their powers together for better impact. Some combinations, such as Ragnarok Rebirth (Hela and Thor) will be removed, while others, such as Bestial Hunt (Daredevil and The Punisher) and Deep Wrath (Hela and Namor) will be added.

Guangguang also hinted at a new game mode that will be revealed at /the Thailand Game Show on October 17. While little is known, the hint points to changing the overall gameplay experience.
