MOONTON Games Introduces Dori as a Beginner-Friendly Mage Coming in Mobile Legends Season 43

While MOONTON Games is gearing up for its 10th Anniversary Event celebrations, a brand new Hero has arrived in the in-game Advanced Server. Players have already started testing the playstyle of the new mage hero Dori to determine how she fits against the current meta.

According to the leaks, Mobile Legends Dori comes as a beginner-friendly hero, shining in the Mid-Lane Mage role. While the previous hero, Mobile Legends Hirara offered a high-risk, high-reward mechanics, MLBB Dori caters to new players who find it difficult to master heroes with multiple combos. Mobile Legends Dori Overview

MLBB Dori, the Shepherd of Smiles, will be the 134th hero in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Unlike regular mages, she wields a banner as a weapon, and all her abilities are area-of-effect abilities. Her playstyle focuses on moving around to zone out enemies and deal massive damage to them with her skills having a large range, so positioning is the key aspect to master.

Since Mobile Legends Dori can move while casting her skills, players need to learn to time her skill combos correctly to deal massive damage. Players who are familiar with heroes like Lylia and Joy will be able to master Dori's kit easily.

Mobile Legends Dori Skills

Mobile Legends Dori has a simple kit consisting of one passive and three skills. As she is being tested in the MLBB Advanced Server, there is a chance that her abilities will be changed before she is introduced in the Original Server.

Merry Mark (Passive)

When Dori attacks enemies with her skills, they get marked. When these enemies are hit with her next skill, the mark is triggered, and they receive additional damage. She also gains some Movement Speed whenever she casts a skill, increasing her mobility during fights. This passive acts as the central pillar to Dori's kiting playstyle.

Timid Courage (Skill 1)

This skill allows Dori to deal Magic Damage to nearby enemies and knock them back. She also gains a shield, making this her only defensive skill that stops enemy heroes from approaching her.

Banner Twirl (Skill 2)

Dori rotates her banner weapon to create a ring-shaped area at a medium range. Enemies caught inside this skill are slowed and receive Magic Damage. Casting this skill also gives Movement Speed to MLBB Dori, allowing her to chase enemies or reposition during team fights.

Starlit Parade (Ultimate)

Her third ultimate ability creates another ring-shaped area at a long range. Enemies caught inside this skill are stunned and receive Magic Damage. This serves as Mobile Legends Dori's main crowd-control ability, affecting multiple enemies and changing the course of the team fight.

Dori's current Advanced Server version looks like a control-oriented Mage rather than a burst hero. Her skills cover all aspects like damage, stuns, knockbacks, slows, and movement speed. She also has different ranges, allowing her to deal with other ranged or high-mobility heroes. Her kit makes her a perfect hero for beginner players to pick up.

Mobile Legends Dori Release Date

Dori was added to the MLBB Advanced Server on August 27, 2026, but there isn't any confirmed Mobile Legends Dori release date for the Original Server yet.

According to MLBB community leaks, Dori will be released during Season 43. MOONTON Games will be busy with the Mobile Legends10th Anniversary Event celebrations in the upcoming Season 42, putting Dori on hold at least for the next season. Next month isn't all doom and gloom, though, as multiple Hero Skins and Perks are coming with the next Mobile Legends September Starlight 2026!
