Nioh 3 Gameplay and Story Overview

As usual, like its previous version, Nioh 3 takes place in Japan and involves combat with yōkai, and you will also see the development of character parameters through skill development, which is a core theme of any story progression game.

One of the most significant new features in this instalment is the option to switch between samurai and ninja fighting styles seamlessly.

The samurai fighting style offers the same deliberate, stance-based combat that fans of the series have come to expect, while the ninja fighting style is centred on speed and aggressive repositioning techniques.

For the first time in the series, Nioh 3 features open-world level design, which means that instead of linear missions, the game now has areas to explore that contain side content and stealth missions.
