Once Human February Balance Adjustments Bring Major Combat and Deviation Overhaul

Summary
The Once Human February Balance Adjustments that arise on the February 25 (PT) update are expected to bring about a radical transformation in the game's combat mechanics. Starry Studio is primarily working on standardizing damage types, fixing hidden calculation errors, and improving the interaction between weapons and Deviations.
Improved Deviation Performance
The Once Human February Balance Adjustments fix an important bug where weapon, damage, type Deviations could not properly account for Crit Hit and Crit DMG attributes. Hence, to fix this and give a lower bound on power that players can rely on, several Deviations are being given quite a big damage increment:
- ZapCam: Damage raised from 400% to 800% of Psi Intensity as Weapon DMG.
- Lonewolf's Whisper: Damage raised from 400% to 800% of Psi Intensity as Weapon DMG.
- Soul Summoner: Damage raised from 400% to 600% of Psi Intensity as Weapon DMG.
- Butterfly's Emissary: Damage per instance raised from 80% to 120% of Psi Intensity as Weapon DMG.
- Polar Jelly & Invincible Sun: Fixed a bug so these now properly apply Status Vulnerability.

Weapon Damage Type Standardization

Among the technical features of the Once Human February Balance Adjustments is the move of some hybrid weapons to Status DMG in their "Charged" or "Elemental" modes. It means that Pyroclasm Starter (Dragon's Breath rounds) and Pathfinder (Ice Spikes) finally can take advantages from Status Vulnerability buffs.
Importantly, these weapons can still be used to get Crit Hit, Crit DMG, and Weakspot bonuses. Besides that, the condition of triggering these weapons has been made standard to "when a shot hits a target" so that the firing mode activation can be consistent.
Once Human Deviation buffs
To stabilize the meta shift, the Once Human update on February 25 encompasses precise buffs to the equipment and consumables:
- Gilded Gauntlets: Apart from the existing Burn Crit ability, they will now also provide +20% Burn Crit Rate and +20% Burn Crit DMG.
- Ammo Economy: Production of sniper ammo outside of RaidZone Mode will be increased to support high, fire, rate snipers like Octopus! Grilled Rings!.
- Blueprint Conversion: To make it easier for players to modify their builds to the new mechanics, all players will get 3 blueprint conversion attempts after the update.
