Overwatch x Naraka: Bladepoint All Skins and Release Date

With just a day remaining for the major update in Overwatch, Blizzard Entertainment confirmed the Overwatch x Naraka Bladepoint collaboration. This exclusive event, however, is exclusive to China. It basically means players from other regions won't be able access the skins in-game. Initially, the crossover was teased last year (December), and it is finally scheduled to arrive in-game on February 11, 2026, at 10 AM CST.

Even though Blizzard Entertainment's official social media hasn't announced this, the company chose Weibo (a Chinese social platform) to officially release a video about the collaboration. Overwatch Heroes, such as Reaper, D.Va, Wuyang, Widowmaker, and Freja, will be seen wearing the traditional attire of the Naraka Bladepoint characters.

Overwatch x Naraka Bladepoint Confirmed, But Only China Gets Access

As mentioned earlier, Blizzard Entertainment posted a 2-minute video, confirming the Overwatch x Naraka collaboration on Weibo, and it's exclusive to China. For context, this isn't the first time Blizzard has released China-exclusive skins. Players have witnessed something similar last year (2025) when the company released a Lorewatch event, which included an exciting skin for Genji.

Coming back to the Overwatch x Naraka Bladepoint collaboration, the cinematic featured our favourite Overwatch characters: D.Va, Reaper, Wuyang, Freja, and Widowmaker. If we take a deep dive into the trailer, we'll know that the skins will take their entry on February 11, at 10 AM CST, and will be available in the shop till March 10, at 11:59 PM CST. As per the tradition of any collaboration, our favourite Overwatch Heroes will receive the exciting skins, portraying characters from Naraka Bladepoint, a multiplayer martial arts game. While the Overwatch x Naraka Bladepoint collaboration remains China-exclusive, Blizzard has also confirmed that Overwatch 2 is reverting back to its original name, Overwatch, marking a major identity shift for the franchise.

Community Reacts To Overwatch X Naraka Collab After Missing Out On Exclusive Skins

As Blizzard confirms the collaboration to be China-exclusive, players from other regions went furious, and demanded to bring the collection worldwide. Well, let's be honest, Naraka Bladepoint has a huge playerbase in China. And it's quite evident that Blizzard's authority went for the numbers, which led them to make this event limited to China. The Overwatch's official Reddit forum, however, went furious about this decision.

One of the users, u/_mindisaprison_ created a post claiming how this decision makes them frustrated, especially when Wuyang is their main character. They showcased even more frustration, explaining how Chinese players received 10 seasons of Battlepass for free, and also got access to some limited-time events. Amidst these, global players are still seeking some good compensation.

Another user, u/Imzimin, explained how Blizzard is not playing their “favourite" card; instead, the authority is releasing exclusive skinlines so that Chinese players can spend real-life money on in-game purchases. This could be a part of the major plan, where they're giving NetEase a run for its money.
