Summary
Pokémon GO recently concluded its one of the most successful events, GO Fest 2025 and is now set to introduce a brand new event called Pokémon GO Sunkissed Shores from August 25th, 2025, to August 31st, 2025. This event is going to introduce a new Pokémon, Dondozo, as well as some rare Pokémon to raid. Apart from this, the event shall see the likes of Slakoth, Alolan Raichur, Alolan Marowak and more. The new Sunkissed Shores event shall be active for a week and shall reward the trainers with twice the amount of XP for emerging victorious in raid battles.

Pokémon GO is introducing a new Pokémon as part of this event. Lucky trainers may also get a shiny version of the Pokémon. This pure water-type Pokémon is going to be available in the three-star raids. Trainers can catch it by defeating it in the raid battles. Additionally, it can be caught by accomplishing the paid timed research quest of the event. It costs around .99. Dondonzo can also be caught by winning 3 one-star raids, field tasks available in Pokestops and Gyms. Trainers may get to catch a shiny Dodonzo; however, the odds of it spawning are very low.
