Pokemon Unite Announces 5th Anniversary Celebrations

Pokemon Unite will celebrate its 5th anniversary on July 21, 2026, in-game. Trainers will, however, get a chance to add new licenses even before the 5th anniversary celebrations commence. The devs have surprised the community with a long list of free rewards. After a long time, the community is hyped for an event to begin.

All Rewards Lined Up For Pokemon Unite 5th Anniversary

Pokemon Unite's trailer for the upcoming 5th anniversary celebrations showcased all the rewards that will be up for grabs. Pokemon Unite 5th anniversary rewards have the community talking, as trainers will get a chance to get free licenses, license points, License Arts, and Halowears while the event is on. Below, we have listed all the new Pokémon releases along with details of the free rewards and how you could get them easily.

New Unite Licenses

Four new Licenses will be released to commemorate the 5th anniversary of Pokemon Unite. The new Pokemon lined up for release include 4 legendaries: Yveltal, Palkia, Reshiram and Solgaleo. These will be released in consecutive weeks leading up to the anniversary celebrations and beyond.

Each one of these will arrive with its own standalone event, and you will have a chance to get them for free by completing the event objectives. Here is the schedule for the release of Pokemon Unite 5th Anniversary Licenses:

• Yvetal: July 3, 2026
• Palkia: July 17, 2026
• Reshiram: August 7, 2026.
• Solgaleo: August 21, 2026

Login Rewards

Pokemon Unite will offer free login rewards to celebrate its 5th anniversary. Trainers will have a chance to add 10 new Pokémon to their roster. Each day, trainers will get a chance to choose a new Pokémon or Halowear permanently for free. This means, every day after you log in, you will get to choose between a Pokémon or a cosmetic Halowear of a Pokemon to keep forever. This will last for 10 days.

Each day, you will get to choose a Pokémon from one of the 5 different roles in the game. For the first two days, you can add two new Attackers, followed by two speedsters on days 3 and 4, two all-rounders in days 5 and 6, two defenders on days 7 and 8 and two supporters on the final two days.

Free 5500 Pokemon Unite License Points

Pokemon Unite made it extremely difficult to get a license of your choice when they replaced coins with license points. However, for the first time, the devs are offering a chance to earn 5500 Pokemon Unite license points for free by completing objectives during the 5th anniversary events. In addition, trainers will also get a chance to add License art and selection boxes.

The conditions to get these will be announced soon. For now, this seems to be a step taken forward to make the game more balanced and less pay-to-win.
