PMGC 2025 Group Red Day 1 Points Table: eArena Leads On First Day

The PUBG Mobile Global Championship, PMGC 2025, action returned on December 2, 2025, with the matches for group red. This first day featured 16 competing teams, including seven that advanced from the gauntlet stage and nine that qualified directly. This year marks the sixth edition of the championship, taking place at Imperial World Samrong in Bangkok, Thailand. Notably, the top three teams from group green will secure direct spots in the PMGC 2025 grand finals.

The PMGC 2025 group red day 1 matches began from 4:30 PM IST (+7 UTC). PMGC 2025 Group Red teams had to play six back-to-back matches across three different maps: Rondo, Erangel, and Miramar. The lobby was packed with some fan favourite teams like Ragnum Carya and local stars like eArena. The Indian team, Infinix True Rippers, were also battling it out in this lobby. Team eArena led the PMGC 2025 Group Red Day 1 standings with 65 points.

The Local favourites, eArena, dominated the first match of group red. They got a 17-elim chicken dinner in match 1 at Rondo. Infinix True Rippers had a disappointing start to their PMGC 2025 campaign after being eliminated early and bagging only 1 point. Brazilian team Influence Rage dominated the second match at Erangle. They got a 10-finish win as they defended their compounds in the final circles. True Rippers got caught in a sandwich situation and managed only 2 points in this match.

Weibo Gaming made their presence felt in match 3 and got themselves their first PMGC 2025 win. True Rippers once again faltered and got only 3 points. BMIC champions DRX won the final Erangel of the day with 8 elims.

Team FL won the first Miramar of PMGC 2025 group red with 12 eliminations. True Rippers played well too, as they finished second with 11 points. ARC got the final chicken dinner of the day in match 6.

PMGC 2025 Group Red Day 1 MVP

EA Sakura was the first MVP from the group red matches. He obliterated the lobby and picked up 11 solo eliminations in match 1 at Rondo. Law from Team Influence Rage got the MVP title in match 2 for his 4 eliminations. Chinese veteran Suk was the MVP of match 3 with 3 elims and 384b damage. DRX Hyunbin was adjusted as the MVP of Match 4 for his 3 eliminations.

FL Win won the match 5 at Miramar with 7 solo eliminations and 1023 damage. ARC Ramzes was the MVP of the final match with his 7 eliminations and 823 damage. TernyK earned the MVP honours for day 1.
