Rainbow Six Mobile Tier List (February 2026)

The 5v5 tactical shooter will expectantly have 27 Rainbow Six mobile operators. While Ubisoft Montreal are likely to add a few characters post-global release, we'll certainly see some tweaks in the list from its current phase.

As of now, our Rainbow Six Mobile Operators Tier List will distribute the 27 characters into four categories: S, A, B, and C. S-tier represents the best characters, and C-tier represents the worst, which adds no extra value to the team. S-Tier

S-Tier characters from our tier list are the best Operators Rainbow Six Mobile. These Operators are must-picks during any ranked game and bring special value to any given roster or any situation. On that note, here's a brief:

• Ash: Ash can rush a bomb site to catch defenders off guard. Her Breaching Round helps break soft walls within seconds. Meanwhile, the R4-C Assault rifle is the perfect option to inflict serious damage during 1v1 scenarios.
• Hibana: Hibana is one of the best hard-breach operators. Her unique X-Kairos lets her decide how much area she wants to breach, making it easy for her to hold cheeky angles through reinforced walls.
• Thatcher: Thatcher is like the ultimate solution to every annoying Defender ability out there. His EMP Grenades literally disable every single ability of his opponents, giving them ample opportunity to create space and win rounds. For this reason, he's one of the most-banned operators during ranked games.
• Smoke: Even though the Siege community is still asking what's inside Smoke's canister, his Remote Gas Grenades are the most lethal entry denial abilities one can use. Players must use their gadgets carefully to hold important angles.
• Jager: Jager is one of the best defending operators in our Rainbow Six Mobile Tier List. His Magpie Defense System is a lifesaver, helping his teammates take incoming projectile damage. We recommend that you use these devices carefully at the site-entry points, especially beyond the attackers' sight.

A-Tier

The A-Tier characters also add important value to the team. These characters can exploit their abilities to outplay their opponents during tough scenarios. That being said, here's a brief:

• Twitch: Rather than crispy aim, you must use your brain to Twitch and destroy the Defenders' utilities. Use her Shock Drone well during the preparation phase, as it can be pretty beneficial during clutch situations.
• Thermite: Thermite is certainly one of the essential hard breachers out there. He, however, can't choose how much area he can breach, unlike Hibana. Breach hard walls to create unique angles to catch defenders off guard. For this reason, he's at A-Tier.
• Capitao: Capitao can switch between Smoke and Fire with his Tactical Crossbow. Use Fire to clear out cheeky corners and Smoke to block the Defenders' vision. The crossbow comes in handy to tackle difficult situations.
• Mute: Mute is one of the best SAS operators in our Rainbow Six Mobile Tier List. His GC90 Signal Jammer can block Attackers' drones, which eventually helps defenders in the long run. Meanwhile, he can block hard breacher characters like Hibana and Thermite from using their utilities to create unique angles.
• Maestro: Much like Twitch, Maestro heavily depends on his Evil Eyes. Those who love to avoid traditional gunfights and use their game sense in between fights, Maestro is the answer to their calls. Deny Plants, Reveal Positions, destroy breach charges, and many more creative things you can do with his utility.

B-Tier

B-Tier characters from our Rainbow Six Mobile Tier List are decent picks in certain scenarios. That said, here's a brief on some of the best characters from the list:

• Sledge: Unlike Rainbow Six's PC version, the handheld one doesn't feature that many breakable areas. Therefore, taking Sledge will not add any extra value. If you have objectives to complete with SAS operators, rather go for Thatcher.
• Lion: You won't have to opt for Lion unless you have some objective to complete or have something serious on your mind. He basically reveals the movable operators for a couple of seconds. It certainly helps rush heavy operators like Ash and Buck.
• Caveira: Caveira is surely dangerous, but only in the initial phase of the game. Once every beginner learn how to perform roam clearance, the Attackers can hunt down this silent Operator.
• Rook: Rook is certainly a heavy anchor operator in our Rainbow Six Mobile Tier List. Apart from providing everyone with an extra set of armour, he has no unique value. Moreover, the armor makes you louder, making it difficult for the roam operators to move around freely.
• Kapkan: Kapkan is beginner-friendly, and you might get excited by those free kills during your initial stage. Once you learn how to play the game and climb through rank ladders, you can't depend on this Russian, as everyone will look for his Booby traps, even while they're rushing.

C-Tier

C-Tier consists of the worst category characters in Rainbow Six Mobile. The following Operators have almost zero impact during important scenarios. That said, here's a brief:

• Glaz: Be it Rainbow Six Siege (PC) or Rainbow Six Mobile, Glaz adds no extra value to the attacking roster. His only job is to hold an angle and shoot through smoke. The opponent, however, never crosses the smoke in the first place if they hear Glaz's weapon.
• Attacking and Defending Recruits: These operators won't be picked unless players want pure drama each round. No unique abilities are present in these recruits to contribute in their own way. Those who'll pick these two will have to rely on their aim. Therefore, unless you're smurfing in the lower-ranked lobbies, we recommend avoiding these characters.
