Raji: Kaliyuga is another upcoming title in the world built by Nodding Heads Games. The developers showcased the first look at Kaliyuga during their time in the Xbox Partner Preview.

The sequel expands on all the things fans loved about Raji: An Ancient Epic, which was released in 2020, while also making big changes to the experience itself. The title shifts to a third-person perspective, introducing a second playable character and a larger mythological conflict to the story.

However, this time Raji is not alone. Her younger brother, Darsh, will step into the role of the second key character. A new villain emerges in Mahabalasura.

Raji and Darsh embark on a journey of travelling through different lokas.

Along the way, they will encounter creatures and lost memories. The story focuses closely on both characters, highlighting their relationship with fear, responsibility, and destiny.

Raji Kaliyuga Gameplay Focuses on A New Perspective and Two Characters

The greatest transition in Kaliyuga is the shift from an isometric view to a complete third-person action perspective. This enhances the game's sense of weight during combat and exploration, making the experience more immersive.

The sequel is being developed in Unreal Engine 5, and players can also expect more dynamic lighting, environments, and richer animations based on traditional Indian art and architecture.

Players will be able to play as both Raji and Darsh. The interplay of these characters will bring its own different style of play. Acrobatics, in addition to dodging and evading, will play a major part in the gameplay.
