The Xbox Partner Preview Showcase 2025 provided an exciting series of updates revealing an array of new games, DLC content, and exclusive Xbox Game Pass offerings in the upcoming year.

Armatus: A Third-Person Roguelite Shooter

Counterplay Games, the studio behind Godfall, is returning with Armatus, a third-person roguelite that takes place in the demon-filled wreckage of Paris. The player is a supernatural warrior utilising powerful firearms and celestial powers, exploring the ruins of Paris in search of the Sunless Gate.

Armatus will release in 2026 on Xbox Series X/S, PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2, with a day-one launch into Xbox Game Pass.

The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu

Another Lovecraftian horror title is on the way in The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, a four-player co-op survival game. Players will work together to survive in a cursed jungle filled with monsters and cosmic horrors while discovering treasures buried in the jungle. The Mound will release in summer 2026 for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5.

Crowsworn: Metroidvania Action in a Dark World

The game will feature side-scrolling action-platforming as you play as a plague doctor who must explore the dark world of Fearanndal. Players will fight men and monsters, unveil secrets, and engage in complex combat. It will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch, launching on Game Pass on the same day.

Echo Generation 2

Echo Generation 2 is the sequel to the turn-based deckbuilding RPG game based on cosmic horror. Players can recruit a crew, craft devastating decks, and fight across further strange worlds. It is scheduled for release in 2026 on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Game Pass.

Vampire Crawlers

Poncle, the developer of Vampire Survivors, will release Vampire Crawlers, a first-person roguelike deckbuilding dungeon crawler. It will retain the addictive qualities from the first title, but introduce new mechanics and perspectives. It will release in 2026 on Xbox Series X/S, PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.

Dave the Diver: In the Jungle

The highly anticipated indie adventure game, Dave the Diver, has finally been released for Xbox, and a DLC titled "In the Jungle" is expected in early 2026. Players dive and discover the ocean during the day and later operate a sushi restaurant at night. That DLC will bring tropical environments and challenges for both divers and chefs.

007 First Light: Aston Martin Valhalla

In 007 First Light, IO Interactive unveiled the Aston Martin Valhalla, adding this new high-tech spy car to the franchise. The game tells the story of young James Bond in MI6 training, and will debut on March 27, 2026, on Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS5, and Switch 2.

Roadside Research: Aliens Run a Gas Station

The offbeat co-op game Roadside Research allows players to be alien gas station owners on Earth while remaining hidden from the public. The co-op game with its own sense of humour and teamwork comes to Xbox Series X/S and PC in early 2026.

Total Chaos

Total Chaos, a first-person survival horror from developer Sam Prebble and publisher Apogee Entertainment, is out now! Navigate a decaying world inhabited by monsters, gather materials and supplies, and survive in horrifying encounters on Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Reanimal

Coming from the team responsible for Little Nightmares: Return, the game is a co-op horror adventure that follows a brother and sister as they attempt to save their friends from nightmarish creatures. The game is scheduled for release on February 13, 2026, on Xbox Series X/S, PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Erosion: Action Sci-Fi Wild West

Erosion is a roguelike game that introduces a time-shifting mechanic where players advance ten years every time they die. Set in a voxel universe inspired by the Wild West, players must rescue their kidnapped daughter and create a new timeline. The game will be available in 2026 on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5.

Zoopunk: Animal Heroes Charge

Players will fill the shoes of a rabbit swordsman named Rayton, who will lead a team of anthropomorphic animal heroes against a mechanical army.

In this game, players will be able to travel through a stylised dieselpunk world with melee weapons. The game is scheduled for release in 2026 on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5.

CloverPit

Indie roguelite CloverPit is now officially released on Xbox Series X/S and PC. It is known for its risk-reward gameplay inspired by slot machines, which combines strategy and chaos with an announcement of future content, Unholy Fusion.

Hitman: Eminem vs. Slim Shady

Agent 47 comes back with a celebrity Elusive Target in Hitman: World of Assassination to take on Slim Shady - the alter ego of rapper Eminem. The mission goes live on December 1, 2025, on the main platforms as free content.

Tides of Annihilation

The action-adventure game Tides of Annihilation showcased an entire boss fight and a glimpse into large-scale battles and world-shattering adventure. The game is coming soon to Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5, and it is inspired by the Arthurian legend.

Raji: Kaliyuga

The sequel to Raji: An Ancient Epic, Raji: Kaliyuga, will depict the journey of Raji and her brother Darsh, who will face gods, asuras, and powerful mystical forces. The game transitions from an isometric to a third-person action gameplay environment and will release on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5.
