Supercell has now announced that Squad Busters will cease to be active, with a final update scheduled for December 2025. The studio acknowledged that after its launch in May 2024, while everything started great, Squad Busters did not live up to the developers' expectations.

For this reason, Supercell has decided to terminate the game, but players will not completely lose all of their in-game purchases. Supercell Squad Busters Development Ending

Supercell has made one of its hardest decisions of the past several years by deciding to end development of Squad Busters. The team stated that while millions played when it was launched, the game never achieved the long-term quality bar set for Supercell titles. The last update for the game will come in December 2025 with some of the roadmap content that was previously announced.

After that, Squad Busters will be available to download and play for a limited time before servers are anticipated to go offline in conjunction with the release of the December update in mid-2026. In-app purchases were turned off on October 30, 2025, which is the initial step in the transition for players. Supercell also confirmed that the developers from the Squad Busters team will reunite through ongoing support and build other projects in the Supercell ecosystem.

Although Supercell has decided to sunset the game, players won’t lose their in-game purchases entirely. This move ensures players can continue their journey across games like Clash Royale, Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, Boom Beach, and Hay Day.

Supercell Squad Busters How to Transfer In-Game Currency

Players who made an in-app purchase in any Supercell game in the year 2025 can transfer that value to another Supercell game. The transfer process will be available starting on November 10, 2025, and the opportunity to transfer will close on December 31, 2025. Here’s the process to request your transfer through Player Support:

1. Open the Settings from within Squad Busters.
2. Select More Settings.
3. Select Help and Support.
4. Tap the blue chat icon towards the top right corner.
5. Click “Leave a message”
6. Select “Transfer in-game currency”
7. Follow the on-screen prompts.

To submit the request, players will need to share:

• The game they are transferring to
• Their player's name
• Their player tag
  Players can transfer to any major Supercell game, which includes Clash Royale, Clash of Clans, Brawl Stars, Boom Beach, or Hay Day.

Free Bundles and Rewards for Squad Busters Players

In an act of goodwill, Supercell is also offering free bundles via the Supercell Store. The reward is based on the total playtime of your Squad Busters. In addition, Squad Busters-only cosmetics will be available again for a limited time, as long as you can take a piece of the Squad Busters game to other Supercell games to enjoy.
The free bundles and the cosmetics will be available as of November 10, 2025, and until the end of the year. If you want to take home a free bundle and/or cosmetics, and/or cosplay your Supercell ID, you'll need to claim these by the end of 2025. Also, it may be a good idea to download and link your Supercell ID before November 10 in Supercell's other games.
