Wolfram Ore is an important resource in StarRupture, if you want to craft stronger materials, ammo, and advanced items. Knowing where to find it and how to process it will save you a lot of time. In this guide, we’ll walk you through everything from where to find StarRupture Wolfram Ore, how to turn it into bars and powder, and what you can use it for.

How to Get StarRupture Wolfram Ore

StarRupture Wolfram Ore looks like large deposits of orange-colored metal have been found around the world. The fastest way to collect it is by placing an Ore Excavator on one of the flat Wolfram veins you see on the ground. If you don’t have an excavator yet, you can still mine the veins manually using your mining tool.

You’ll also find smaller chunks of Wolfram lying on the ground. For locations, there’s a Wolfram vein close to the Orbital Lander, with a larger cluster just north and northeast of the starting area. You can find another vein far to the north of the map.

How to Use Wolfram Ore in StarRupture

You can use the StarRupture Wolfram Ore in crafting to turn it into useful materials.

Basic Building Material is made using 1 Titanium Ore and 1 Wolfram Ore.

• If you use the Basic Item Printer, the process is instant and gives you 10 Basic Building Materials.
• If you use a Fabricator, it takes 2 seconds, but you still get 10 Basic Building Materials.

Wolfram Bar is created by smelting 2 Wolfram Ore.

• This takes 2 seconds in a Smelter and produces 2 Wolfram Bars.

Mine the ores, choose the right machine, and you’ll quickly turn them into building materials or bars needed for crafting and construction.

How to Make StarRupture Wolfram Powder

To make Wolfram Powder, you must first turn Wolfram Ore into Wolfram Bars, and then process those bars in a furnace. Start by placing an Ore Extractor on a Wolfram ore deposit. After that, build a Smelter and connect the extractor to it using a rail. Interact with the smelter and select the option to produce Wolfram Bars.

Once you have bars being made, place a Furnace nearby and connect it to the smelter with another rail. Make sure your setup has enough power by placing an extra Solar Generator, as all these machines need electricity to run properly. Finally, interact with the furnace and choose Wolfram Powder from the menu. The furnace will then process the Wolfram Bars into Wolfram Powder for you.

Standard Ammo can be crafted in two ways:

• Using the Basic Item Printer, combine 2 Wolfram Powder and 9 Basic Building Materials. This will give you 8 Standard Ammo.
• Using the Mega Press, you’ll need 4 Wolfram Powder and 18 Basic Building Materials. It takes 6 seconds, but you’ll receive 20 Standard Ammo.

Ceramics are made in a Furnace by combining 1 Wolfram Powder with 1 Calcite Sheet.

• This takes 2 seconds and produces 2 Ceramics.

Chemicals are also crafted in a Furnace.

• Mix 3 Wolfram Powder, 1 Synthetic Silicon, and 1 Helium-3.
• After 2 seconds, you’ll get 2 Chemicals.
