Valorant Agent Miks Announced at Masters Santiago: Release Date and Abilities

Riot Games has officially unveiled Valorant New Agent Miks, during the 2026 Valorant Masters Santiago tournament. Positioned as a hybrid Controller-Support, Miks blends traditional vision-denial tools with healing and disruptive abilities, offering a fresh approach to tactical gameplay.

Valorant New Agent Miks will become available in the game on March 18, 2026, which coincides with the start of Season 2026 Act 2. Miks extends the Controller role through his abilities which go beyond standard smoke and map control capabilities. His kit allows players to control the battlefield through rhythm-based gameplay which draws inspiration from sonic and musical elements. Players can perform aggressive attacks which they can back up with defensive strategies, while using their buffs to increase team synchronisation and their disruption abilities.

Miks’ Abilities

• Harmonize (Q): Links combat stim buff through teammate connections which refreshes with each successful kill. The system works effectively for two-person teams attacking B site on Bind and for players using ALT-FIRE to enter the game.

• M-Pulse (C): The device has two modes which include Concuss Mode that disorients enemies and Healing Mode which helps restore health to nearby allies. The ability performs best in tight spaces that exist within A Heaven location on Split map.

• Waveform (E): Marks precise smoke locations in order achieve instant deployment. Useful in blocking all sightlines very quickly during site fights.

• Bassquake (Ultimate – X): The ability sends a sonic shockwave which pushes enemies backward while making them move slower and causing them to lose their hearing abilities. The ability works best to control the mid area of Breeze or to make enemies move during site attacks.

Miks redefines Controllers through his ability to launch aggressive attacks while he heals his teammates which creates a new hybrid role between Sage's support abilities and standard Controller gameplay.
