VALORANT Premier Act 5: Full Schedule, Rewards, and Path to VCT Challengers

Riot Games has introduced different modes in VALORANT over the years, from Unrated, Ranked, and Deathmatch to more fun modes like Escalation and Spike Rush. But one of the biggest additions has been VALORANT Premier. It was designed as an in-game tournament mode, which allows players of all skill levels to compete in structured matches that mirror the experience of professional esports. Unlike standard ranked play, it offers a chance to get into the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) ecosystem for those players who want to enter the pro scene. Via the VALORANT Premier tournament, one can qualify for Challengers, the first tier of the VALORANT esports.

Act 5 marks the next major cycle of Premier, and Riot has already laid out the schedule, competitive structure, and rewards that players can expect. As the new map is entering the pool, there have been some balance changes that are shaking up the meta, and there is a seven-week calendar of matches leading into Playoffs. VALORANT Act 5 Premier Schedule

The Act 5 Premier season runs from August 27 to October 12, 2025, spanning seven weeks of regular play before concluding in a playoff event. To make it interesting, each week has been assigned to a specific map from the VALORANT Competitive map pool. Here’s the full week-by-week breakdown:

• Week 1: It will take place on the map of Haven from Aug 27 to Aug 31.
• Week 2: It will take place on the map of Corrode from Sep 3 to Sep 7.
• Week 3: It will take place on the map of Lotus from Sep 10 to Sep 14.
• Week 4: It will take place on the map of Ascent from Sep 17 to Sep 21.
• Week 5: It will take place on the map of Sunset from Sep 24 to Sep 28.
• Week 6: It will take place on the map of Bind from Oct 1 to Oct 5.
• Week 7: It will take place on the map of Abyss from Oct 8 to Oct 11.
• Lastly, Playoffs: It will begin from October 12 onwards – The single-day culmination of Premier, where teams that qualify face off in a knockout bracket.

Teams compete across 22 divisions ranging from Open 1–5 (entry-level) all the way to Invite (even from the highest level). Each week, teams can play two best-of-one matches, with results awarding a Premier Score that determines playoff eligibility.

To qualify for Playoffs:

• Teams in Open through Elite need to earn 600 Premier Score.
• Teams in Contender and Invite must place at the top of the weekly standings.

The winner from the Contender Division will get direct qualification to Challengers, while the Invite Playoff winners also move into Challengers.

VALORANT Act 5 Premier Rewards

Like any major VALORANT event, Premier also comes with rewards, and the great thing is that even if you don’t make it all the way to the top divisions, there are rewards for simply participating and competing throughout the season.

• Participation Reward: Everyone who plays at least one Premier match during Act 5 will receive a unique player card, a cosmetic badge of honor that shows off your involvement in the tournament.

• Playoff Winners: Teams that come out as a winner in the Playoffs will unlock an exclusive title and a limited-edition gun buddy, both of which can only be earned through Premier.

While it is true that rewards and incentives do motivate players to participate, the true prize of Premier lies in its competitive progression system. By climbing divisions and succeeding in Playoffs, players can actually earn opportunities to compete at the professional level.
