The livestream is intended to share important information regarding the upcoming major DLC update. Hexi Expansion Content Roadmap

The Hexi expansion will not launch as a single complete package at once. As stated in a recent developer letter, the main DLC will be released on March 6, but the story chapters will be released one by one. The aim is to release updates every 28 days. At the game's launch, three new maps will be released: Jade Gate Pass, Liangzhou, and Qinchuan.

Combat mechanics will also be expanded through the addition of two new martial arts styles. Bamboocut – Dust will be released in March and may involve quicker and more accurate attacks. In April, Stonesplit – Strength will be released, which involves more powerful attacks and direct combat. This phased rollout builds on earlier system upgrades like Where Winds Meet Version 1.3 New Performance Mode & AI Feature, which improved overall performance before major content additions.

New Bosses, Weapon Addition, and System Changes

The Hexi patch will bring eleven new bosses to the game in twenty regions. The bosses have come with new mechanics. A new weapon, the Heng Blade, will also be added. It is presumed that the new weapon will be compatible with both of the new martial arts systems that will be introduced. Cosmetic items and temporary events are also expected to be included in the Hexi patch. Frontier-themed costumes will also be included with the expansion’s theme.
