The Return of Tactical Hologram Challenge

Main Event: Lament Recon – Solaris Soldier

One main highlight of the Wuthering Waves Dawn Breaks on Dark Tides update is the event Lament Recon: Solaris Soldier, from October 11 to November 19 (2025). This activity is a combat training where players use the Enhancement Module to make the Resonator or weapon strong, then face wave after wave of enemies. To join, must reach Union Level 14 and unlock Resonance Nexus by clearing the story quest “The Sacred Breeze So Often Breathes.”

Rewards include 800 Astrite, “Lighthouse and Blake Bloom” Sigil and Avatar, a Modifier, and Premium Tuner for weapon improvement.

All New Events in Version 2.7

Besides the big Lament Recon drill, the Wuthering Waves Version 2.7 update also brings many side events that give rewards, story, and a double drop chance.

• Gifts of Approaching Dawn – Login and daily mission event with resource pack reward.
• Gifts of Ink Song – Small lore-based event gives Echo-related items.
• Septimont Weather Forecast – Fun mini-activity that lets players explore the weather effect region.
• Freeze Frame: Action Highlights – Photo or clip event where the player captures the best combat move.
• Lollo Campaign: Ice Savior – Battle event with special conditions and a limited enemy wave.
• Limited-Time Double Drop Events – Farming event where the drop rate doubles for material and tuner.
• Pioneer Podcast – Community-style event that shares behind story and reward code.

All of these will open during the October and November period, giving players a reason to log in daily and gather free upgrade stuff.

New Character Banner and Weapons

The Wuthering Waves' new update features both new and returning characters for the gacha pull.

• Phase 1 (October 9): bring Galbrena (5★ Fusion pistol user) and a rerun of Lupa (Broadblade fighter).
• Phase 2: add Qiuyuan (5★ Sword Resonator) together with Zani rerun (Gauntlet user).

Wuthering Waves new update weapons include Lux & Umbra (Galbrena's signature pistol) and Emerald Sentence (Qiuyuan sword). Old limited weapons like Wildfire Mark and Blazing Justice come back too.

Four-star unit list may have Sanhua, Mortefi, Lumi for the first half, and Yangyang, Taoqi, Danjin for the later phase. Because of the banner rate, players save Astrite now for a better pull chance when the update drops.
