Xbox XP Is The Next Big Move For Its Franchises Beyond The Console

Ever since Asha Sharma joined as the CEO of Xbox, the subbrand has been making some bold moves. Whether it's with the exclusive pass pricing or Project Helix. And now, the ambition has been changed to something bigger, beyond the gaming sector. Yes, you've heard it right!

\The company is trying to be one of the best entertainment companies in the world. As Xbox XP announced, the company released the four areas of investment where they want to grow. Therefore, let's take a look at what the plans are for the Microsoft subbrand.

A New Era for Xbox Is Not Beyond Imagination

Xbox is already quite famous for revolutionising the whole multiplayer gaming scene. In short, Microsoft's subbrand became a tough competitor for other console makers, Sony and Nintendo. And Asha Sharma (current CEO) just made it even more interesting with her ideas that you can't ignore. That's all for the gaming sector.

Now, Xbox wants to expand their expertise into TV, Movies, merchandise, and more. And that's when Xbox XP announced. The Xbox XP Division will be headed by a veteran from Lucasfilm, Kayleen Walters. In simple words, gamers can experience brand-new Xbox XP Movies, TV series, official merchandise, and more in the future.

And some of the flagship franchises like Minecraft, Halo, Fable, and more will be the centre of attraction for the Xbox XP division. The company primarily invested in four major areas of entertainment, and all of their abbreviations are XP. The areas are: Xbox Pictures, Xbox Products, Xbox Places, and Xbox Partnerships.

The Possible Projects for Xbox XP

If we talk about TV series and movies, we've already seen names like Halo, Minecraft and Fallout series taking over the entertainment world. And now, several projects are already in development and down the pipeline. It all starts with an iconic Call of Duty series. Meanwhile, both the Fallout and Minecraft series and films are upcoming. Surprisingly, Kayleen Walters is producing the Minecraft project herself.

Blizzard's very own Diablo animated series is also in development (in collaboration with Netflix). Oh, let's not forget about the iconic Gears of War animated series and Wolfenstein live-action, too. Lastly, let's talk about GOATjima himself. Considering there's a recent deal with. So, all of these projects will be under the new initiative.
