Mumbai Indians are called the comeback kings of the IPL. Despite not starting well in the competition, they lost three games in the first 7 of the competition. They had a change in captaincy with Ricky Ponting handing over the leadership role to a young Rohit Sharma, and then the rest became history. He led the side to their first IPL trophy, beating Chennai Super Kings in a low-scoring thriller. MI scored 148 runs batting first.
