Bangladesh Players in IPL Auction 2026: Here's the Full List & Base Price

The much-anticipated IPL 2026 auction is just around the corner, and the franchises have revealed their retained players' list. In the auction, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will enter with the highest purse of INR 64.3 crores and INR 43.4 crores, respectively. The franchises have retained the core team and released the players who no longer served a purpose in the squad. With this purse, both KKR and CSK will look to get the strong players for the upcoming season.

There are players from many countries, including Bangladesh, who have registered for the IPL auction. So far, there are two Bangladesh players, Mustafizur Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan, who will enter the auction at a good base price.

Which Bangladesh Players in IPL Auction 2026 are Registered?

The upcoming IPL 2026 auction is set to take place on December 16 in Abu Dhabi. The franchise owners will travel to the venue for the auction and to build a team of their own. From Bangladesh, Mustafizur Rahman and Shakib Al Hasan have registered for the auction at a base price of INR 2 crores and INR 1 crore, respectively. The players have previously been a part of the IPL playing for different franchises, including Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, and others. Hence, they might get picked up by these franchises once again since they have the highest purse amount.

Rahman has played in all the IPL seasons starting from 2026. He missed one season in 2019. In 60 games, he has claimed 65 wickets at an average of 28.45, which is pretty decent. Meanwhile, Shakib Al Hasan is a veteran when it comes to the IPL. He last played in 2021 and made his debut in 2011. He also helped KKR win the trophy in 2012 against CSK. The all-rounder has played in 71 games and scored 793 runs at an average of 19.83 and has also claimed 63 wickets. IPL missed an all-rounder like him who can bat in crunch situations and take wickets as well. Both will hope to be picked again in some of the best teams in IPL.

Almost 12 Bangladesh players have been a part of the Indian Premier League in the past. Some of the renowned names are Shakib Al Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, Tamim Iqbal, Abdur Razzak, Mashrafe Mortaza, Litton Das, and others. These players have left a mark on the IPL and are missed by many fans.
