DDCA Secretary Responds to Anand Verma's Allegations
Amid the ongoing controversy, DDCA secretary Ashok Verma dismissed the allegations of ticket fraud and clarified that there was no such issue. According to him, the Delhi Capitals had already informed the association about a technical problem during entry. "Delhi Capitals have communicated to us that it was a technical issue. Sometimes the scanner fails to read the barcode," Ashok told PTI.
He explained that such issues can occasionally occur during high-volume entry situations, leading to confusion despite tickets being valid. Talking about the clash, DC defeated the five-time champions after a match-winning knock of 90 runs by Sameer Rizvi.
