The reporter later clarified the situation, adding, “There were quite a few injury updates that the media wanted...hence the Punjab Kings team management sent the physio for the PC.” Still, the explanation did little to calm social media reactions, as many questioned why neither captain Shreyas Iyer nor head coach Ricky Ponting attended the Punjab Kings Press Conference before a must-win clash.
