The second Qualifier of IPL 2026 will be played between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, New Chandigarh. The winner of this match goes straight into the final, where they will be facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

However, former India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin believes that the result of the GT vs RR Qualifier 2 match is simple. In a massive statement, Ashwin revealed that Gujarat is going to win the match and progress to the final. While speaking on his YouTube channel, Ravichandran Ashwin, one of the best bowlers in IPL, seemed confident that Gujarat Titans will beat Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2. He also believes that the Titans will be hard to beat in the final since it will be played at their home ground in Ahmedabad.

“GT will 100% beat RR all the way. I can give it in writing. And if GT qualify for the final, they are winning the trophy for sure. They’ve the Ahmedabad track measured to an inch. GT will win their second title. RCB’s only hope is to catch a flight and stop GT in Mullanpur itself because they’ve no chance in Ahmedabad,” Ashwin said while speaking on his YouTube channel.

Gujarat Titans have a terrific record at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. They have won six matches in this stadium this year and have used their home ground brilliantly. Since the final is in the same stadium and GT know conditions well, they will have a big advantage.

Who Will Win IPL 2026 Qualifier 2?

Despite Ravichandran Ashwin predicting the RR vs GT Qualifier 2 winner, the match is expected to be a thriller between two teams that have been dominating the IPL points table for most part of the season.

Both of them will be playing at a neutral venue, which means no team will have the home advantage. However, both are coming into this match after contrasting results. While Gujarat Titans suffered a hammering from the defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Qualifier 1, Rajasthan Royals convincingly defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator.
