MS Dhoni to Leave CSK If Sanju Samson Trade....

The trade of Sanju Samson from the Rajasthan Royals (RR) to CSK is on the cards. Various reliable media sources have claimed that CSK have offered Ravindra Jadeja to RR in place of Samson, and with both being 18 crore players, the deal seems to be in its final stages.

However, RR aren’t agreeing on just one player in the return. Along with Jadeja, they first demanded Dewald Brevis, but CSK weren’t convinced. Sam Curran came into the picture as well, along with Matheesha Pathirana. The ball is on RR’s court now, and Sanju is also expressing his desire to play for CSK. Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif has come up with a massive statement amid the trade rumours of Sanju Samson. He feels that if the Indian keeper-batter joins one of the best IPL teams, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), then the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 could be MS Dhoni’s last season in the league.

If Sanju Samson joins CSK, then he will act as a perfect replacement for MS Dhoni, who is at the fag end of his career. Sanju being the captaincy material as well as the wicketkeeper, the franchise won’t feel the void left by MS Dhoni once he retires from the format.

As CSK-RR talks are underway, Mohammad Kaif came up with a big statement. He believes that if the trade happens, then MS Dhoni could leave the team mid-season. Speaking in a video posted on his YouTube channel, he said: "Both players started their IPL careers in 2008. Since joining CSK, Dhoni has never left the franchise. If this trade happens, it could be his last season, maybe even one he doesn't finish. If Sanju settles well with the team and management, Dhoni could hand him the reins.

Is Dhoni Ready To Give Up Jadeja and Bring a Future Captain for CSK?

Mohammed Kaif also pointed out how CSK tried one of the best all-rounders in IPL, Jadeja, as a captain but failed. He stressed that MS Dhoni, who is at the helm of things at CSK, has a long-term vision in mind and he is ready to sacrifice Jadeja to bring future captain. He added: Jadeja tried captaincy but wasn't comfortable. Not everyone can lead in the IPL. Dhoni's long-term vision seems clear - he's ready to give up Jadeja to bring in a future captain.

If the Samson-Jadeja trade happens, this could be one of the biggest trades in the IPL. Also, this could be a homecoming for Jadeja as he started his career in the league with RR and won the IPL in 2008 as well.

But his getting traded by CSK wasn’t something that fans expected. The franchise has also faced a lot of criticism for this, and it remains to be seen if the trade actually happens or not.
