The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season has been filled with a lot of controversies around it, along with the game of cricket. This season of the IPL has seen a lot of players being caught in smoking incidents from Kagiso Rabada to Riyan Parag to Yuzvendra Chahal. However, all these incidents came into spotlight as someone near them shot their video and circulated online across social media.

While, Punjab Kings star pacer Arshdeep Singh has now come under radar not for being involved in these kind of incidents but for making a vlog which resulted in Chahal's vaping video surfacing online. The BCCI has been making rules strict in this IPL from unknown women entering to Player's room to banning media stuff and has now taken step against Arshdeep Singh Vlogs.

Why Arshdeep Singh Vlogging Banned?

Arshdeep Singh, one of the best bowlers in IPL, is known for his bowling but also for entertainment off the field. Arshdeep Singh vlogs have been regularly posted on his official YouTube Channel where he shows life of cricketer off the field from travelling to practising. However, recently his vlog caught an unwanted scene of Yuzvendra Chahal who was caught smoking a vape in the flight, which created concern of negligence in security as well as privacy of an individual.

To take step against this, Arshdeep Singh social media banned has been enforced by the BCCI, where he is instructed to not do vlogging during the IPL as it has been creating a lot of issues for the Punjab Kings management.

Arshdeep Singh's Performance Dipping in IPL 2026

The left arm pacer from Punjab, Arshdeep Singh, has been more in headlines due to his personal life rather than his bowling performance in the IPL 2026. His performance has dipped a lot in this edition of the IPL, where he has only managed to take 11 wickets in 10 matches, he has played so far, where his economy rate is also 10+. The pacer is trying his best to come back on the track and bowl as per skills. He reached his personal milestone of 100 wickets in IPL during this season only but still he is trying hard to find that rhythm on the pitch during the initial and death overs, where he is still seen struggling.
