Kolkata Knight Riders fast bowler Kartik Tyagi bowled two waist high no-balls during the last over of the match against Lucknow Super Giants. The match is being played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow.
Why Kartik Tyagi Was Not Removed From Bowling In the Last Over Against LSG?

However, Tyagi, who is one of the contenders for IPL purple cap, was not discontinued to bowl for the rest of the over. This move came as a big surprise as normally a bowler gets removed from the bowling attack after two no-balls in an over.
Why Kartik Tyagi Was Not Removed From Bowling In the Last Over?
For those wondering why Kartik Tyagi was not removed, the simple answer is that those were not dangerous balls. The bowler can be removed from the bowling attack by the umpire if the balls are deemed dangerous and are aimed at the batter's body.
However, in this case, the second no ball was on the off stump and hence, not considered dangerous by the on-field umpires. Hence, Tyagi, who has bowled one of the fastest balls in IPL, was allowed to bowl the rest of the over.
After the first ball went for a bye, Tyagi bowled a chest-high full toss, which Himmat did well to protect himself. It was a clear no-ball from the KKR fast bowler. Meanwhile, the second one was a high full toss that was just above the waist height. The catch was taken but it turned out to be another no ball. While many had believed that Tyagi will be removed, the umpires allowed him to continue to everyone's surprise.
Match Goes Into Super Over
LSG batter Himmat Singh made full use of the free hit and smashed a four off the next ball. However, Kartik Tyagi came back strongly to pick up his wicket off the next ball. The next two balls didn't cost much and LSG were required to score 7 runs off the final ball.
Many had written Mohammed Shami given his batting abilities, but the veteran cricketer proved everyone wrong with a massive six over long off. It was a length delivery on off stump asking to be hit and Shami obliged by sending the ball soaring over the long off fielder.
Kartik Tyagi last over no balls tied the game and took the LSG vs KKR match to the Super Over. However, KKR prevailed in the end as they won the Super Over with Rinku Singh finishing things off in style. With this win, KKR have moved up to the 8th spot in the IPL points table, above MI and LSG. They will be hoping to carry this momentum in the upcoming matches as well.
