Arkadiusz Milik crashes out of Poland’s Euro 2024 Squad

Arkadiusz Milik’s injury: The Polish forward is no longer a part of Michal Probierz’s final Euro 2024 Squad

The 30-year-old Seria A club Juventus’ forward Arkadiusz Milik wasn’t named in Poland’s final Euro 2024 squad announced by their head coach Michael Probierz. The Polish team for the competition was named after their 3-1 victory over Ukraine in an international friendly fixture. In the same game, Milik was taken off the pitch after suffering a major injury blow.

Michael Probierz insisted on the reason for Arkadiusz Milik’s omission from his side’s Euro squad. The Polish team head coach inflicted that, Milik’s chances of competing in the upcoming Euros for Poland had pretty much gone out of the window after the injury that he went through in the friendly fixture against Ukraine.

Arkadiusz Milik went down inside the first five minutes of Poland’s friendly fixture against Ukraine after what appeared to be a knee-related injury issue for him. He was then attended to by the team’s medical staff on the ground, before being initially helped off the pitch by them.

The 30-year-old seemed quite devastated regarding the whole situation. Currently, there are no further updates provided by Poland’s team management on the extent of the forward player’s injury and his potential return date.
