Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich

Liverpool and Arsenal among clubs interested in signing Bayern Munich star: Reports

As per journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich are open to selling midfielder Joshua Kimmich in the summer.

Kimmich’s Future: Potential Transfer Speculations and Club Interests

Kimmich’s contract with the Bavarians expires in the summer of 2025. There haven’t been any signs of a new contract so far. Hence, the German giants will look to sell the midfielder this summer and gain some profit rather than letting him go for free in 2025. Kimmich is himself open to leaving following a nine-year spell at the club.

Numerous top clubs are interested in signing the German midfielder if he does leave Allianz Arena in the summer. They include Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal from the Premier League. Barcelona and Real Madrid have also shown their interest.

While Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain will also be interested in signing him, Kimmich isn’t too keen on joining either of these three clubs.

Bayern could end up offering him a new contract if a suitable offer doesn’t arrive in the summer. As per Transfermarkt, the midfielder’s market value is €75 million. However, with just one year remaining on his contract in the summer, Kimmich is expected to go for a lesser transfer fee.

Arsenal and Liverpool are sitting at the top two spots in the Premier League table, level on points but the Gunners are above on goal difference.
