Kingsley Coman getting subbed off

Bayern Munich Injury Update: Kingsley Coman added to the list of sidelined players ahead of Arsenal clash

Kingsley Coman is Bayern Munich’s latest injury addition ahead of the Champions League game against Arsenal next midweek. The French international was subbed off in the second half, making way for Leroy Sane after playing around one hour at the Emirates Stadium.

Bayern already lost Serge Gnabry who suffered a hamstring injury in the same match. Alphonso Davies on the other hand is also to miss the second leg clash versus Arsenal due to card suspension. The Canadian picked up a yellow after challenging Bukayo Saka shortly after the kickoff.

Bayern Munich Injury Update: Thomas Tuchel explains why Leroy Sane missed FC Koln match

Another rested player is Sane who skipped the game against FC Koln at Allianz Arena lately. Tuchel has planned to rotate some of his players even before the Koln clash.

“It’s about how much pain he can tolerate,” Tuchel said of Sane. “We geared everything towards him being able to play for Arsenal. He was an important factor there and played a great game.

“Since he showed a reaction, we’re focusing on him on Wednesday. The plan is for him to return on Sunday or Monday. But if he plays, he’ll show a reaction in his pubic bone again, which will remain the case for the time being.

Sane has scored nine goals for Bayern across the competitions this season. His season has been disrupted by several fitness issues which luckily did not lead to any more serious situations. The former Manchester City winger has dealt with knee problems and pubic bone irritation this season alone.
