Colorado Rapids host Los Angeles FC at the DSG Park on Saturday in the MLS, looking to return to winning ways. It’s been a tough start to the season for Colorado, who’ve won just once all season. Having begun their season with a loss and a draw, the Rapids beat Real Salt Lake on matchday three for their first victory of the 2024 campaign. However, the side were unable to build on that, and saw one more draw and loss each in their next two.

With five points in the bag from five games so far, Colorado Rapids are down in the 10th position of the Western Conference table. The side struggled miserably last year, winning only five times during the league phase from 34 games, and their poor start in the 2024 calendar year shows nothing much has changed for them since then.

On that day, Timothy Tillman opened the scoring in the ninth minute before Denis Bouanga doubled their advantage another nine minutes later. Bouanga then made it 3-0 early into the second half as Cristian Olivera joined the scoresheet in the 75th minute. More misery was to follow for Nashville in stoppage time as Eduard Atuesta added a fifth in the sixth added minute.
