Cristiano Ronaldo took to Instagram to post a special Mother’s Day wish to Dolores Aveiro. While the special day is usually celebrated in the second Sunday of May, in some countries, including Portugal, it is celebrated on the first Sunday of May. Ronaldo has celebrated according to his country’s timeline and made a special social media post.

He uploaded two photos alongside his mother, one from his childhood and one more current one. He also posted a snap of partner Georgina Rodriguez and the five children together. The Portugal captain captioned the post, writing:

When Dolores celebrated his 68th birthday in December 2023, Ronaldo gifted his mother a Porsche Cayenne.
