Spice Girls diva and fashion designer Victoria Beckham celebrated her 50th birthday on Wednesday and her husband, football legend David Beckham, took the opportunity to greet his wife in an interesting way. 

David Beckham’s cute tribute to his wife Victoria came on Instagram as the ex-Manchester United player shared an unseen picture of a young Victoria smiling and standing over a football. The Inter Miami owner went on to caption the picture saying, ‘ I knew she always loved football.’ David’s caption poked fun at Victoria who has previously stated that she never liked football and has always been averse to the game. 

However, not one to be outdone, the famous singer reposted husband David Beckham’s story and captioned it, ‘Turns out I taught David everything he knows about the game!!’ The friendly banter between the couple highlighted their healthy relationship and never-ending love for each other.

Apart from engaging in friendly banter with his wife, the star also shared some moving words for his wife on her 50th birthday.  Beckham shared the words, ‘As you head into this birthday you should look back and be proud of what you have accomplished, achieved & what you have built, Posh spice, business woman & of course marrying an England captain.’ David Beckham’s cute tribute to his wife also involved several cute pictures and a compilation video of some beautiful moments of the couple’s life.
