However, Benzema’s penalty miss was somehow overshadowed by his assist in the game as Al-Ittihad managed to register a crucial 3-1 win over Al Fayha.

With this win, Al-Ittihad currently stands at the fourth spot in this season’s Saudi Pro League table with 46 points to their name. They are two points behind the third place Al-Ahli Saudi who has registered 48 points so far. However, at this stage, a direct qualification for the next season’s AFC Champions League group stages looks quite a stern task for the club.

Karim Benzema has performed decently for Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Ittihad when it comes to his overall goal contribution to the team. However, considering how lethal the former Real Madrid forward is considered in front of the goal, these numbers certainly won’t flatten him.
