Report: Kylian Mbappe has already signed for Real Madrid

The Frenchman reportedly agreed a deal in February 2024

PSG star Kylian Mbappe has apparently signed for Real Madrid already. According to French journalist Abdellah Boulma, the 25-year-old penned a contract with the La Liga champions back on 21 February.

The Frenchman is out of contract with the Parisians and has already made a decision against renewing it, leaving the door open for a summer transfer. Real Madrid, his biggest admirers and who have been linked with him for the longest time, are touted to be his next destination.

With PSG now out of the Champions League, and their season almost over, an official announcement can be expected anytime soon. However, in a huge development, albeit one that won’t surprise any, Mbappe seems to have already signed a deal with Los Blancos.

Boulma, who works as a reporter for the French arm of Sports, recently shared the news on X, and it has since been reshared multiple times by many official accounts too. If that is indeed true, then Mbappe is finally on his way to joining Real Madrid.

Mbappe’s final Champions League campaign ends in heartbreak

Kylian Mbappe’s final season in the Champions League with PSG ended in a heartbreak after Borussia Dortmund knocked them out in the semi-finals. It was the only major trophy missing from his cabinet. When he arrived back in 2017, Mbappe was expected to guide the Parisians to their first-ever European title at some point, but seven years later, the France international is set to bow out without a medal. He came the closest in 2020, when PSG reached the finals but lost to Bayern Munich.
