Manchester United’s non-coaching staff left fuming after FA Cup final triumph for THIS reason

Manchester United have seen a topsy-turvy last couple of weeks as the club ended the 2023-24 season on a winning note by clinching the club’s 13th FA Cup title at Wembley last Saturday (May 25). The notable achievement was the only reason United could have had a party in the 2023-24 season as they endured a tough time in the Premier League. However, it was the wrong message that circulated among the United non-coaching staff despite a mini-party taking place on Sunday.

United’ non-coaching staff left unhappy

After the winning moment against arch-rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final, United players had a mini party in the Marriott Hotel in London. The reported party not part of the plan was attended by YouTube influencer Darren Jason Watkins Jr better popular by the name of IShowSpeed. His presence was seen at the Marriott Hotel and was seen celebrating with Alejandro Garnacho. It was reported that it was the Argentine midfielder who invited Speed to the after-party.

The incident, however, did not go well with the rest of the United non-coaching staff as they were displaced. The United hierarchy had already announced that they won’t be organising the after-season award function so that the club could focus on the FA Cup final. This added to the pain of non-coaching staff as they did not get a moment to celebrate with the men’s first team during the season.

United’s tough 2023-24 season

Manchester United have endured a tough time during the season and are likely to take big decisions in the coming days. Despite winning the FA Cup, Erik ten Hag is unlikely to continue as the manager of the side with potential suitors being lined up by Sir Jim Ratcliffe. The FA Cup remains the only reason why United will play in the Europa League next season as they failed to secure qualification from the Premier League standings.

The board will also have big decisions to make on the futures of Mason Greenwood and Jadon Sancho as they will return to the club at the start of the 204-25 season. While Greenwood is expected to be sold, Sancho remains in a better position to have a future at the club. If Ten Hag is sacked, Sancho could be thrown a lifeline to get his United career back on track.

On the other hand, the club will face competition to replace departing Raphael Varane while Andre Onana shrugs off a disappointing first season.
