In 2013 on 17 May, Mohammed Al Rubaie joined Al Ahli by leaving AL Akhdoud. He joined Al Batin on loan on 2 August 2018. On 19 October 2018, he made his professional debut for Al-Batin in the Saudi Professional League, coming on as a substitute in the 72nd minute for Adriano Fachini in the 0-2 home loss against Al Nassr. He made 6 appearances in all the competitions. In 2020, he renewed his contract with Al Ahli for four seasons, and on 4 September, he made his debut for Al Ahli as a substitute in the 11th minute for Yasser Al Mosailem and lost against Abha.
