Neymar disses Kylian Mbappe on an Instagram post

Brazilian star Neymar has sparked a controversial comment on social media. The Al-Hilal winger responded to an Instagram post which praised his former Paris Saint-Germain teammate, Kylian Mbappe. 

The post was portraying the French international sharing smiles with Barcelona’s winger Raphinha and helping Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo who was on the ground. According to CNN Brazil, the caption says: ““Mbappé showing, once again, that he is a good man, but the villain of a poorly told story. The truth is that Mbappé has such a “competitive spirit”, but people confuse a man who wants to win everything with a bad guy.”

Neymar couldn’t let the moment pass by commenting ‘baba ovo de gringo’ which the literal translation was ‘overpraising a foreigner’. The former Barcelona player accused the account of praising Mbappe too much while the user might not know the 25-year-old forward personally like he does. 

What the Brazilian did is he just triggered speculation about the relationship between the two who were once believed to be best friends. Back in the day, the two were known never to hold a serious grudge. But there have been reports lately of a beef between the two players during their PSG days as Neymar turned up drunk in the training sessions.
