The German goalkeeper was managing to keep Los Blancos forwards at bay and was an octopus in front of the goal. Vinicius Jr, Jude Bellingham, Rodrygo, and Federico Valverde kept trying to score but just could not get past the goalkeeper.

However, Carlo Ancelotti’s substitution did the job, and Joselu made the most of a shock mistake from the Neuer. The German goalkeeper could not hold on to a shot from Vinicius Jr and the ball popped out just a few feet away.

Joselu made the most of the chance and tapped in from a couple of yards out. The match looked set to go into extra time, but the Spanish forward had other plans.

Thomas Tuchel admitted that it was a disastrous decision during the game and said:

“It’s an absolute disaster. This scene must be played out to the end. That’s the rule. The linesman made the mistake, and the referee made the second mistake. It’s a violation of the rules.”

Real Madrid will now face Borussia Dortmund, who defeated PSG in the other semifinal, on June 1st.
