Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven is now the fastest Premier League player ever. The Dutch defender clocked in a pace of 37.38 km/hr this season. Van de Ven has been a key player for Ange Postecoglou’s side this season.
Van de Ven, 23, has played across the defense for Spurs this season. He joined the club in the summer from Wolfsburg and has so far made 29 appearances. Apart from being defensively stout, Van de Ven has also scored three times for Spurs.
Van de Ven’s arrival has given an injection of pace to Spurs’ defense. He looks set to be a key player for Spurs‘ defense for the coming years, alongside the likes of Cuti Romero, Radu Dragusin, and Destiny Udogie.

Van de Ven has taken the top spot in the list of the fastest Premier League players. Right behind the Dutchman is Luton Town’s Chiedozie Ogbene. He is followed by Nottingham Forest’s Anthony Elanga. Wolves‘ Pedro Neto and Brighton’s Jakub Moder complete the top five.
