Padma Shri Award Cricketer List

The list of cricketers who won Padma Shri Award reflects India’s recognition of players who made a lasting impact on the sport across different generations. The journey began in 1960 with Vijay Hazare and later included legends such as Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, Bishan Singh Bedi, Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly, and Anil Kumble.

In modern cricket, several star players have also received this honour. The MS Dhoni Padma Shri award came in 2009 after his success as India’s captain and his role in major international victories. The Virat Kohli Padma Shri award date was 2017, recognising his outstanding batting record and leadership at the highest level.
