Indian Cricket Team batter Abhishek Sharma has been in the news for the last month. The opening batter was the main man for India in the Asia Cup 2025 as he played magically well and helped the Suryakumar Yadav-led side win their ninth Asia Cup title. Abhishek Sharma ended the Asia Cup 2025 as the highest run-getter with 314 runs to his name at a strike rate of around 200. He also slammed three fifties, all three of which were in three Super Four games. Following his heroics, he was also named the Player of the Tournament and became the highest T20 rating player.

After returning from Dubai following the conclusion of the Asia Cup 2025, Abhishek Sharma stole the limelight with his dressing and moves on the dance stage. The opening batter, who skipped his main wedding day of his sister Komal Shamra and Lovish Oberoi, bagged a golden duck. Abhishek Sharma was removed by Jack Edwards on the first ball of the second over as he was caught by Will Sutherland.

Abhishek Sharma is likely to be picked in the Indian team for the ODI series against the Australian Cricket Team. Several reports have claimed that he will be there in the Indian side for the three-match ODI series that will be played from 19th to 25th October. Abhishek Sharma has been sensational with the bat for the last few years. It is learned that Shubman Gill might get rested, and Abhishek is expected to open the innings against Australia in the three-match ODI series.

Abhishek Sharma will be keen to make a mark with the bat in the third unofficial ODI against Australia A.
